Mood Indigo is a new show at the Seattle Art Museum in Volunteer Park. If you are in Seattle you should step away from our amazing sunshine and go see it. If you are not in Seattle, I will bring it to you with some photos here. I am too lazy to enter the captions – I am just giving you an indigo feast for your eyes – some true blue.
I hope you enjoyed swimming through the indigo sea.
so incredibly beautiful!
Yes – so many shades of blue, and such a play of patterns. Symmetry and asymmetry. All good!
Thank you for the heads-up on this, Julie – I’ll be sure to go down and see it with my mom and sister.
You won’t regret it. I hope they do a show on cochineal next!
Rabbits!! You could do rabbits. Have you designed fabric with rabbits? If so, please point me in the right direction. Thanks for sharing. Wish I could see these in person.
I haven’t done many rabbits, but I should hop to it. I love the rabbits here – so elegant.
Wonderful to see, Julie! Will this still be up in August?…
Yes – the show is up until October 9th.
